Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Mythos Algo (“Mythos Algo”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at mythosalgo.app, the subscriber dashboard, and the licensed Expert Advisor (EA) for MetaTrader 4/5. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. It applies to the website, dashboard, license API, and the EA telemetry.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what the service needs to work:

• Account & sign-in: your email address and a securely hashed password; optional two-factor authentication; and, if you choose it, sign-in via Google.
• License & trading account: the MT4/MT5 account number, broker, and server you register. A license binds to your trading account number, so we store it to validate the EA.
• Trade telemetry: trades your EA reports — symbol, side, volume, open/close prices and times, profit, commission and swap — used to build your journal and analytics.
• Payments: on-chain subscription payments (token, amount, transaction reference). Blockchain transactions are public by nature; we record only what is needed to match and confirm your order.
• Notification channels (optional): if you enable alerts, your Telegram chat ID and/or Discord webhook URL, stored encrypted at rest.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/user-agent, and session cookies needed to keep you signed in and to secure the service.

3. How we use your information

• Provide and operate the service: validate your license, run your dashboard, and build your trade journal and analytics.
• Process subscription payments and confirm them on-chain.
• Send the alerts and reminders you opt into (trade alerts, expiry/renewal reminders).
• Protect the service: rate-limiting, fraud and abuse prevention, and security monitoring.
• Meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. We do not sell your data

We never sell your personal data and we do not share it for third-party advertising. We share data only with the service providers that run our infrastructure, and only as needed to operate the service.

• Hosting & database (managed Postgres and edge hosting) to store and serve your data.
• Caching/queue infrastructure used for rate-limiting and background jobs.
• A blockchain data provider used to read on-chain payment confirmations.
• An email provider used to send account emails (verification, password reset).
• Telegram and Discord — only when you enable those alert channels, and only to deliver your alerts.

5. Security

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. License signing secrets and your notification channel credentials are encrypted at rest. Traffic between the EA and our API is sent over HTTPS and signed (HMAC) so it cannot be tampered with. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We keep your account, license, and trade data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer where required for legal, tax, or security reasons. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data (see “Your rights”), subject to those obligations. On-chain payment records cannot be deleted from public blockchains.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@mythosalgo.app. We will respond within a reasonable time.

8. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by those providers. By using the service you understand your data may be processed outside your country of residence.

9. Children

The service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
