After it's live — what's normal

So you don't turn the robot off at the wrong moment.

Trade frequency

The robot doesn't open positions all the time. Some days have no trades at all, and that can be normal — the robot waits for the right market conditions.

When you're in floating loss

A run of losing trades can happen — it's a normal part of trading. Don't panic at a floating loss; manage it per your own risk tolerance.

Pause temporarily

Turn off the Algo Trading button. The robot stops opening new positions; positions already open stay open and you manage them manually.

Full stop

Right-click the chart → Expert Advisors → Remove. Removing the robot does not close open positions — they remain and you manage them manually.

Update the robot

Download the new .ex5 → replace the old file in the Experts folder → restart MetaTrader → re-attach the robot to the chart.

The robot runs while MetaTrader is open. You're free to stop it whenever you've had enough — it doesn't have to run non-stop. If you want it running 24/7 without depending on your computer, we recommend a Windows VPS.

Pick a VPS location near the broker's server, not near your home.
