Installation steps

Follow these nine steps in order. Every step has a picture.

Create a Mythos Algo account

Go to mythosalgo.app → sign up with email & password (or continue with Google) → check your inbox → click the verification link. Verification is required before a license can be activated.

Choose: free demo or buy a license

A free 3-day demo — the exact same robot as the paid version, only the active period differs. Or buy a license: each product has its own model — some are a subscription (weekly/monthly), some are a one-time lifetime purchase — the model & price are shown on each product page. Register your trading account

Enter your trading account number (e.g. 1234567890), broker server (e.g. ICMarketsSC-Live01), then pick MT5 or MT4. You can find the account number & server in MetaTrader (Tools → Options → Server) or your broker's welcome email.
⚠️Type the server exactly as in MetaTrader. One license is locked to one account number — the same key on another account is rejected.

Copy the License Key & reveal the License Secret

Once your account is active, the dashboard shows two codes on the license card: the License Key (public) and the License Secret (secret). Copy the License Key, then click Reveal & copy once to show the License Secret and copy it too. You'll paste both into the robot in the next step — keep them somewhere safe for now (e.g. a password manager).
⚠️The License Secret shows only once — this is for your security. If you miss it, don't worry: click rotate on the dashboard to mint a new Secret; the old one stops working immediately, just update it in the robot.

Download the robot (EA)

From the Download page, get the file for your platform: MythosEA.ex5 for MetaTrader 5, or MythosEA.ex4 for MetaTrader 4.

Install the robot into MetaTrader

In MetaTrader: File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts (for MT4: MQL4 → Experts) → paste the robot file there → close and reopen MetaTrader.
💡Using a VPS? Do this step inside the VPS, not your local computer.

Drag the robot onto a chart

Open Navigator (Ctrl+N) → Expert Advisors → find MythosEA → drag it onto the chart for your product's pair on the product's set timeframe (shown on the product page), or double-click.
⚠️Make sure the symbol name is right. Some brokers name gold XAUUSDm, XAUUSD., or GOLD. Check in Market Watch.

Paste your license, allow the connection, enable Algo Trading

8a. Inputs tab

  • Paste the License Key into the LicenseKey field
  • Paste the License Secret into the LicenseSecret field
  • Tick Allow Algo Trading → OK

The robot automatically uses the account it's attached to — make sure that's the account you registered (e.g. 1234567890), not another one.

8b. Allow the server connection (don't skip)

Tools → Options → Expert Advisors → tick “Allow WebRequest for listed URL”, then add the server address:

Without this, the robot looks active but won't open any trades.

8c. Toolbar

Make sure the Algo Trading button in MetaTrader's top toolbar is on (green).

Confirm it's running & monitor

A smiley face 🙂 in the top-right of the chart = the robot is active. A sad face 🙁 = Algo Trading is still off (see the Help page). Every trade is logged automatically in your dashboard: profit, win rate, active trades, journal, and Telegram/Discord alerts.
